Vegan Meatballs in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
The sauce:
1 tbsp of EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp of dried oregano
2 tbsp of tomato paste
250 g of canned whole tomatoes
fresh basil
1 pack of Heura meatballs
Preparation
- 1In a cold pot, add the oil and garlic to sauté on low heat for about 3 minutes.
- 2Add the oregano and cook for 1 minute.
- 3Add the tomato paste and cook for about 3 minutes.
- 4Add the tomatoes, with their juice, and cook until they start to boil.
- 5Blend everything with a hand blender.
- 6Add the basil and reduce to taste.
- 7Season with salt.
- 8In a separate pan, cook the meatballs over medium heat for 12 minutes, turning frequently to brown them.
- 9Add the meatballs to the sauce for about 5 minutes and serve.
