Heura's production has achieved an 83% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to animal-based products in 2023, according to the results of its Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), a method for quantifying and comparing the environmental impact of systems and products.

By type of animal, the study's results estimate a 94% reduction in the case of beef, 81% in fish, 80% in chicken, and 76% in pork.
